I love the exposed brick in the right space. When I lived in NYC one of my apartments had been renovated and they drywalled over all of the brick. I never knew it was there until once day, by chance I saw one of my neighbors apartment, I began to drool over the effect it had on the 20' walls...part of the charm that to me yells NYC to me. xo
ReplyDeleteLOVE- yes I said it! I am in love with the exposed brick especially in the third photo.
ReplyDeleteLove, did I say that already?
i love exposed brick. my husband bought a 1921 house a few years ago and when we were gutting the kitchen we found the old wood burner that came up from the gutter so we exposed it. it was so cool!! it wasn't a whole wall, just a column in the kitchen. it did crumble and we probably should have put a clear coat over it, but we moved out last april. crack heads knocking on our door, out of control basement, not enough money put us in a new house. i miss it though.
ReplyDeleteI love it! The industrial feel it gives is fun in the right space:-)
ReplyDeleteIt's fabulous! I ALMOST rented an apartment with exposed brick many many years ago. I still regret not having done it to this day :)
ReplyDeleteHey there :) I'm exposed brick's biggest fan! I've been meaning to ask you when that wishbone necklace is coming out...I wear my feather necklace a little too often...need something new!
ReplyDeleteI love exposed brick, too. It gives a space such a cool vibe. I love all the pictures you posted!
ReplyDeleteReally though, brick is the best thing to have in a home. I was visiting some friends in their new home. Brick covered a portion of every wall in the house. It was amazingly beautiful. I had never seen anything like it and swore from that day on that someday I would have a house with brick walls on the inside.
ReplyDeletei love the exposed brick look. so rustic.
ReplyDeletelovely shots, i am so envious of anyone lucky enough to have some exposed brick at home.
