This past weekend was the first time I was able to watch the NYC Marathon from my front steps since moving into my new home in Brooklyn earlier this year. The weather was just perfect. It was so amazing to see all of the runners, each with their own story and running for their own reason or cause. Over 40,000 people from all over the world participated. It was so exciting to watch them run and cheer them on!

Oo, this really cool. I'm training for the 3M Half Marathon that's coming up in Jan here in Austin. I still think full marathoners are crazy people, but who knows, I'm already running 13.1 miles & PAYING to do it! :)
